The re:ampd Members Lounge
We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect through the re:ampd Members Lounge app and related services (the “App”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1) What this policy covers
Use of the App, member portal, events (online and in-person), prize draws, emails, and support.
It doesn’t cover websites or services we don’t control. Those have their own policies.
2) Information we collect
You provide directly: Account & profile: name, email, password (hashed), business name, role, interests, optional photo.
Membership & purchases: plan, billing contact, coupons, membership status; payment details are handled by our payment processor (we don’t store full card numbers).
Communications: emails, support requests, survey responses, poll votes, topic suggestions.
Event data: registrations, attendance, dietary/access needs.
Content you choose to share: questions, chat posts, comments during live sessions.
Automatically when you use the App
Device & usage: app version, device model/OS, IP address, time zone, crash logs, pages/screens viewed, taps, session durations.
Cookies/SDKs: for login, analytics, performance, and (if enabled) push notifications.
From third parties (where permitted)
Payment processors (payment status), email service providers (deliverability), video providers (attendance/recording metadata), authentication services (if you use social login).
We do not collect sensitive information unless you choose to provide it (e.g., accessibility needs for events). Please avoid sharing personal information about others without their consent.
3) How we use your information
Provide & secure the App: account creation, authentication, remembering settings, preventing fraud/abuse.
Membership delivery: access to trainings, replays, resources, member forums, event registration, prize draws.
Communications: onboarding emails, service alerts, event reminders, product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
Personalisation: suggest sessions, tools, or content based on your activity or preferences.
Payments & invoices: process membership fees and discounts via our processor.
Analytics & improvement: diagnose crashes, improve features, measure engagement and outcomes.
Legal & safety: comply with law, enforce Terms, protect members and our brand.
Recordings: Some live sessions/events may be recorded for replay to members. If you prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and use the chat pseudonym features where available.
We do not sell personal information.
4) Legal basis / NZ Privacy Principles
We collect and use information only for purposes you’d reasonably expect in connection with providing the App and membership services (Privacy Act Information Privacy Principles). Where consent is needed (e.g., marketing, push notifications, recordings), we’ll ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
5) Sharing your information
We share information only as needed to provide the App and Services:
Service providers / processors: hosting, analytics, payments, email, video conferencing, customer support. They process information on our instructions and must protect it.
Event partners / venues: attendee lists limited to what is necessary (e.g., names for entry, dietary needs if you provide them).
Legal, safety, and rights: if required by law, regulation, or to protect members, staff, or our services.
Business changes: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or sale, we’ll ensure your information remains protected and notify you of any changes.
6) International transfers
Our providers may store or process information outside New Zealand (e.g., Australia, EU, US). We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards (contractual protections and reputable vendors).
7) Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
Account & membership records: while you’re a member and for a reasonable period after for legal/accounting purposes.
Event and recording data: for the life of the member replay or as required for compliance.
If you cancel, we archive essential records and delete or anonymise the rest, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
8) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords, least-privilege access). No system is 100% secure; please keep your login details confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
9) Your choices & rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act you can:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Ask us to delete information we no longer need for lawful purposes.
Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) and push notifications (device settings).
Control cookies/SDKs via device settings, browser settings, or in-app controls (where provided).

10) Children
The App is for users 18+ and is not directed to children.
11) Third-party links & communities
Links to external sites or communities (e.g., Zoom, LinkedIn) have their own privacy practices. Please review their policies. Community areas are for professional use—avoid posting personal or confidential information you wouldn’t want seen by other members.
12) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the App or the law. We’ll post the updated version in-app and note the new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notice.
